"Do I have to stay in my crate? I won't climb your head again when the big trucks go by - I promise!" Posted by Hello

Meepster in his first hotel room after being in the car for 8 hours. He was perfect in the car, wouldn't get out of it in fact without prying him out. Stays out of the way, and when we got to our room, I poured some kitty litter cystals in a tiny cardboard box and said, "Go potty, Meep!" and he did.  Posted by Hello

This pic is of Megan journaling at a rest stop somewhere in Louisiana. Everywhere we stopped she wrote fast and furiously funny things about driving in tandem with me. I'm going to talk her into publishing that little travel journal somewhere, cause it's pure comedy. We had such a good time. But I can't text message while doing 75 mph worth a damn! I was all over the road until I practiced a lot. Thanks to all the patient drivers in Louisiana, Mississippi, alabama and Georgia while I got that trick down.  Posted by Hello

Alex...oh Alex... My youngest son. I love you so much and will miss you a lot. I will see you again soon. I hope all is well with you and you're not having problems with me being gone.  Posted by Hello

Love and kisses to nick w., who is the only person who came to help us get the cars loaded and see us off with some ceremony. He actually had gone to work that morning and took off to do this for us. I'm glad of it too, cause I was going very slow and would have been late for a lot of things. thank you Nick, i will miss you and I'm drinking this next cup of coffee to you my friend. I miss you a lot already.  Posted by Hello

My own personal shaman and friend, Paul E. He came to see me at Carrabbas in G'vine the night before I left. His is a comforting and dreammaker's soul and the very balm I needed to get started on this incredible journey... Posted by Hello

This is why we went to Georgia - Meet my son Pvt Sean Bunch, soon to be stationed in Ft. Lewis, WA. I'm adjusting his blue cord, a symbol of honor and integrity for the US Army infantry soldier. He earned it and I was honored to place it upon his shoulder. I wish you the very best my precious son. Posted by Hello

Chatting w/ Strangers

Ok. So I got my large dragon tattoo last night. It's beautiful. All single needle work, which my artist said was the largest work he's ever done with a single needle. It's very detailed. I named it Xerephon, The Oracle Dragon out of the West. A Dragon of the Cardinal Points, S/he represents water, knowledge of the future, and victory by stealth and wit. S/he is a wizard's familiar and uses invisibility as a weapon. This totem will be watching over me from my right shoulder from now on.

I liked the pain. That was weird. I have one other tattoo, I got last summer. It's a stone Ankh on my right chest. It hurt too, but nothing like this one. This was very sexual, magical kind of pain. I really liked it. *blush* It made me hot. This is not a new idea to me, but this was far more blatant than a schoolgirl fantasy. This feeling had dark robes dragging over earth near a blazing fire in the woods at night under a clear sky dancing naked ritual solstice bloodletting summoning magickal beings powers unknown resting just under my skin kind of feeling. Wow. I actually dozed and dreamt a vision through the last 45 minutes. It was marvelous. Klaatu's "Calling Occupants" and "Dr. Marvello" songs running through my head.

Then I came home and watched "Napoleon Dynamite" with Megan. She really loves this movie and thinks it's hilarious. I thought it was funny, too, but was too slow. But it was nice to spend some time with her and Alex. Then I drove around for a bit again. Saw Nick, Josh and Amy at the Waffle. They liked my tattoo. Saw Lois, Angel and some drunk patrons at Denny's and showed it to them. For some reason when guys see it, they think it needs to be colored in, but the girls thought it was perfect just the way it was. Only the talons, tongue, eye and flames are colored. The rest is very detailed and fine black lines. I don't want anymore color except that the beak was supposed to be yellow and Rick at 360 Blues and Tattoos forgot it. But he wants me to come back on Sunday for pictures to put in his book, so I'll get him to finish that tiny bit up.

Then I turned up Trillian and waited for the sex weirdos to come out. As inevitable as the moon. But tonight, instead of brushing them off, I practiced writing porn and very probably helped some guy in France jack off. I've never done that before. I viewed it as a writing and liberation exercise. I'll probably never do it again--without pay, of course. I want to have a job as a phone sex operator in one of my darkest career fantasies. Theresa Randle in "Girl 6" ain't got nothing on me. Twas fun babies!

Ciao for now - gotta go help Alan find another car. And teach Alex to drive some more. I'll post pics later tonight.

Am I dating??

Ok. Let's see. Previous post mentions men and making out. First was a bit of a flake, but cute and a good kisser. Not much beyond that.

But hmmm, L.F.(names will be changed to protect the innocent, not that anybody is really innocent...) is turning into someone special. Very possibly a good friend to know. A manly man. ooooofff....not a gut check, again! Damn it, I AM attracted to the strong ones. But it is very laid back and a very good start for me. He smells like oranges or TripleSec. I had no idea that scent meant sex to me. I knew that the scent of the skin of a person is deeply important to me on an instinctual, animistic level, but then again, my first husband, who beat the crap out of me, among other cruel and unusual things, smelled good. I'm not talking about cologne here. And Alan, also smells good to me, but we all know where that went.

I worried for a bit that I would feel a desperate need to be somebody's numero uno, but I really don't. I'm very surprised by that. It feels clean and clear in a detached, amused sort of way that allows me to be affectionate with the object of my desire, but not lose my mind and heart over it. I believe he feels similarly. I'm not sure about that and I'm not using my gifts to look any deeper into his feelings at the moment. And at the moment, that's just fine. He's more than a notch on my lipstick case, and less than a boyfriend. It's all good. And the Tarot says it's for my artistic inspiration. I'll take that any day of the week.

Besides, deep down, I know where my heart is and might still be. And Alan may still possess it, and he may have killed it. I don't know. I'm not allowed visits with it. I'm not allowed to tongue that wound, check for blood, apply novocaine to the painful hole, or repair any damages. I'm not sure that I could or would want to. I feel pretty cut off from my heart, my capacity to LOVE right now. I can be devoted, loyal, affectionate, like a friendly, starving mutt dog, but not in LOVE with capital letters, not now and probably not for a long time. Someone else is going to have to make 'the grand gesture' and rescue the princess, next time. But I'd meet them on the bridge to the castle keep, maybe.

Oh well, enough pontificating! I have much stuff to do. Vet for Meep, get car stuff taken care of, finish getting ready for the journey of a lifetime. Whew! Look out world, cause here I come!

Ciao, babies!
